From Old Street Tube Station
Take exit EIGHT stairs (not ramp) from Old Street Station, following the signs for Moorfields Eye Hospital.
On City Road you will immediately pass Starbucks on your left. Walk past Barclays Bank then Moorfields Eye Hospital both of which are on your left.
Having walked 300m or so from the tube station you will come to the Bavarian Beerhouse. We are directly across the road from there behind the bus shelter.
Congestion Charge
There are no congestion charges on City Road beyond Old Street Tube Station (going towards Angel tube station).
If you remain on City Road and park as shown north on the map ie on the B144 (Sheperdess Walk or Britannia Walk etc) you will not be subject to congestion charge.
Otherwise the Charge applies Monday to Friday 7.00 am until 6.30pm
Parking
There is some parking on the road as shown north on the map (where there is no congestion charge) but this can be expensive at about £4 per hour limited to 2 hours.
We would recommend that you park in the car park between Wellesley Terrace and Shepherdess Walk (as shown on the map marked P which is a manned car park (on disused ground) which will cost about £6 for half a day or £8 per full day.
